The Tempest: A Mid Wales Soundstorm

A Mid Wales Music Trust production with Sinfonia Cymru, The Hafren, Theatr Brycheiniog, Wyeside, Arts Connection and Shakespeare Link

Over the next six months we will be celebrating Shakespeare’s 400th anniversary by working with primary schools across Powys and using music, song, theatre and design to bring The Tempest to life with and for younger audiences.

Our workshops, led by Sam Glazer with the musicians of Sinfonia Cymru, and theatre designers Hilary and Graham Roberts, will be taking place at eleven Powys primary schools, and our interactive shows are open to all Powys primary school children and their teachers:
