Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate MWCO’s 3rd birthday at Theatr Brycheiniog on 18 May, and to see our new production of Soldier’s Tale at the Hay Festival on 28 May. Our 2012/13 season culminates later this month on the 21/22 June in Ludlow and Brecon with a programme celebrating Britten’s centenary and Wagner’s bicentenary. Do join us if you can.

MWCO’s new commission The Mare’s Tale is inspired by the acclaimed series of paintings and drawings by artist Clive Hicks-Jenkins The Mare’s Tale (pictured above). It will use music, words and puppetry to tell a haunting tale of grief and longing.
